Ice Cream:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was my first time using Illustrator. Our teacher had explained to us how to make shapes, reshape and form them and how to layer. It may look very simplistic, but making this ice cream and the popsicle was a lot of fun, mainly because it was just messing around to get to know the program. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
It’s really to bad that the quality decreases a ton when I try to upload the pictures to the website. The actual file that I have can be zoomed in forever and it still will not get blurry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Negative Space:<\/p>\n\n\n\n In this assignment you had to play with the space that a letter does not take up. the middle of the letter O for instance. I have to be really honest, I did not put a lot of work into this assignment. I just wanted it to be done. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n You had to pick a word and deliver a message about the word in the negative space of it. The word lock was a really convenient one for me. I thought, “hm… I could just use the O and C as a closed and opened lock!” I felt brilliant, especially because it would only take a minute or two to make. I picked a pretty font, drew the bottoms of the locks and handed the assignment in without thinking about it again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Poster with own Alphabet<\/p>\n\n\n\n This was a two parter assignment. The first assignment was to make your own alphabet with a few different shapes. I choose to only use the Orange and Yellow shapes, which honestly does make for a strange but funny alphabet. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n The second part of the assignment was to ‘write out’ (more like edit) a pangram sentence. “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy fox.” You had to make the pangram with your own alphabet, it’s a poster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I’ve had to work with Illustrator for a bunch for multiple school projects. It’s an alright program and really useful when you need a bunch of vectors. When a project is a vector, it will never get blurry when you zoom in, no matter how far you zoom.
