Skills

Now you may have already seen some of my work and you are asking yourself; but what can they actually do? Well, you can read about it on this page! You can find out about programs I am skilled in, what languages I speak and which materials I prefer to work with!

These are some of the programs I am proficient in.

Adobe Programs:

If you click the following links, you can see some of the projects I have made with the programs.

> Photoshop, > Illustrator, > InDesign, > Premiere Pro

Microsoft Programs:

Click the links to see works with these programs, though these are not as eventful as the adobe programs. I mostly use Word for essays, but sometimes I make a poster. Not the most interesting thing…

> Powerpoint, > Excel, > Word

Languages:

I also speak a bunch of languages, though not all at the same level. I was born and raised Dutch and my English is practically fluid.

Materials:

Yarn: One of my favourite materials to use is yarn. I crochet a lot and like to especially use fluffy yarn, I think it’s called Chenille? But any type of yarn will work. I love it when people commission me, so that I have a goal to look forward to when making a project. I have so many patterns and ideas, and if someone isn’t specifically looking for something, how should I know what to pick and make? Usually I made creatures or animals, and they are adorable to see when you are finally done.

Paint: Painting is always a lot of fun! Acrylic is my favourite kind of paint, but I recently learned how to use aquarelle paint, which is also cool. In school we make a lot of landscapes with paint. You get to choose a picture of a typical Dutch sight and then you paint the picture. You paint the shapes but can alter some of the colours. We now also do the same with Aquarelle paint, but with a different technique of course.

Paper: I journal and make collages. Just grab any old magazine or the news paper your mum has just read and cut out fun words, pictures and graphs. Just stick the strangest things together to make a story. You can even make your stickers by printing them on the right paper.

iPad: it may sound really stupid, but my iPad is also one of my work materials. I use my father’s old iPad Pro to sketch out ideas in Procreate. It’s quite old already, so it needs to always charge… but it still works really well! The digital sketches make it easy to port over to Illustrator or Photoshop, so I prefer it when I’m sketching a design which I’ll edit in Illustrator.
